Biography
Mr Michael Ghosh is a consultant cardiac surgeon at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Trust. After completing his specialised training in London and the South of England he undertook an advanced fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia -internationally recognised for its expertise in arterial coronary revascularisation and the Ross procedure.
Mr Ghosh offers the full complement of adult cardiac surgical procedures, including minimally invasive, redo and high-risk operations and consistently achieves excellent results. His subspeciality interests include coronary bypass surgery with arteries (improves long term survival in selected cases), minimally invasive valve surgery, major aortic (root, arch, valve repair) surgery, PEARS, and the Ross procedure.
Mr Ghosh has a dedicated approach, listens to patient’s needs and concerns, and individualises all treatment plans.
