Starting your fertility journey

Choosing a fertility clinic is a big decision. We want to make it easier by giving you a clear picture of treatment costs from the start.

Below you’ll find our eligibility criteria, consultation, investigation and treatment prices and what they involve.

Our eligibility criteria

Fertility clinics have different requirements like maximum age, body mass index (BMI) and ovarian reserve (AMH levels) to decide if patients can have treatment with them.

At the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Specialist Care, we believe in being inclusive and safe – our eligibility criteria for fertility treatment is supported by evidence-based medical practice designed to maximise your chances of success.

We will not put you through unnecessary treatments if we believe they are highly unlikely to succeed.

We can offer treatments to patients:

  • up to 50 years of age
  • who have a BMI (measure of healthy weight) less than 35

Stage 1: Pre-treatment

  • All new patients will require an initial consultation.
  • Your consultant will recommend relevant tests and scans for an accurate diagnosis.
  • After getting your results, we’ll provide a tailored treatment plan outlining next steps.

Our prices are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.

All new patients will require an initial consultation – during this your consultant will recommend relevant tests and scans for you.

A follow-up appointment is required to initiate further investigations and treatment.
