Our private adult dental care service is focused on restorative dentistry and is delivered at Guy’s Hospital.
Experts in restorative dental care
Our multidisciplinary team of consultants are specialists in restorative dentistry, helping to achieve natural-looking results.
We offer a comprehensive range of treatments, including bridges, crowns, dentures, implants and surgical bone grafting.
In addition to routine treatments, our consultants regularly manage complex cases, including patients affected by head and neck cancer, developmental conditions, trauma, and where restorative treatments have been unsuccessful (redo procedures).
Personalised care
Our consultant-led service is supported by in-house laboratory and radiology facilities, as well as state-of-the-art equipment. This enables us to provide a fast and seamless experience that is personalised to each patient.
Where appropriate, patients can choose their desired pain relief to ensure they feel as comfortable as possible during their treatment. This includes a choice of local anaesthetic, intravenous sedation or general anaesthetic.
We only use high-quality, clinically proven implant systems and trusted suppliers to ensure better long-term outcomes and safety.
Accessing private dental care
Our restorative dental care service is available to self-funded patients, following a referral by their dentist. Short-notice consultations are available within 2 to 4 weeks of a referral.
We currently cannot accept patients with private health insurance.
Our specialists
Mr Kalpesh Bavisha is a consultant in restorative dentistry. He completed his training at University College London in 1991 with further specialist training in periodontics, prosthodontics and endodontics.
Mr Bavisha provides specialises in providing treatments for patients requiring dental implants, and aesthetic procedures coordinated with restorative dentistry.
He is a member of the European Federation of Periodontology, British Society for Restorative Dentistry and European Association of Osseointegration. Mr Bavisha lectures nationally and internationally, teaches on Master’s programmes at King’s College London and is committed to postgraduate development.
Dr Poonam Kalsi is a consultant in restorative dentistry. She competed her training at King’s College Dental Institute in 2006.
Dr Kalsi manages patients who need multidisciplinary care, including those who need oral rehabilitation after having surgical treatment for head and neck cancer and patients with cleft lip and palate, and hypodontia.
She is also actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education in restorative dentistry, and is an honorary lecturer at King’s College London.
Dr Kia Rezavandi is a consultant in periodontology and specialises in implant dentistry.
He completed his training at The Royal London Hospital in 1993 and has been on the General Dental Council Specialist Register in Periodontics since 2000.
Dr Rezavandi shares his expertise in aesthetic dentistry internationally at conferences, as well as contributing to educational textbooks on this topic to help train dentists in the field.
Dr Ish Toor is a consultant and clinical lead in restorative dentistry.
She completed her training at King’s College London in 2009, before specialising in restorative dentistry. She is a General Dental Council Registered Specialist in Periodontics.
Dr Toor provides clinical treatment for advanced restorative cases, including head and neck cancer patients, and patients with developmental anomalies. She also provides treatment planning advice for patients referred from general dental practitioners.
She has a specialist research interest in erosive tooth surface loss and was a lead contributor to the Royal College of Surgeons 2021 erosive tooth surface loss guidelines.
Dr Jose Rodriguez is a consultant in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry.
He completed his training at Universidad Santa Maria, Venezuela, in 2000. He is a dual-registered specialist, being a Member in Prosthodontics and a Member in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons since 2013.
Dr Rodriguez specialises in full mouth reconstructions, dental implant placement and restoration, high-quality partial and complete dentures, and complex gum (periodontal) and root canal (endodontic) treatments.
He is an honorary lecturer at King’s College London where he is actively involved in teaching and research in his fields of work.

- Initial consultation (includes examination and simple X-rays) – £200

- Lower and upper complete denture – £1,000
Dental implants
- Single implant – £2,000
- Implant with permanent crown – £2,000 (implant) + £1,000 per crown
- Implant with implant denture – £2,000 (implant) + £1,000 per denture
- Implant with implant denture and implant bar (linking implants) – £2,000 (implant) + £1,000 (bar) + £1,000 per denture
- Implant with 2 or 3 implant bridge – £2,000 (implant) + £2,000 (bridge)
- Implant with 4 implant bridge – £2,000 (implant) + £4,000 (bridge)
- Implant with full-arch bridge – £2,000 (implant) + £6,000 (bridge)
Patients requiring replacement of multiple teeth with crowns and bridges will be given an estimated cost for treatment on an individual basis.
Pain relief

- Treatment under general anaesthetic – £2,000 per visit
