Leading the way in kidney transplants and dialysis
We are the primary children’s kidney transplant and dialysis centre for more than 9 million people and have extensive expertise in renal medicine.
The first child kidney transplant in England took place at Evelina London more than 50 years ago and we now undertake approximately 30 transplants per year, with 100 children under our post-transplant follow-up care.
We also provide dialysis to 25 children per year and have a large chronic kidney disease service.
Our vision is to improve the lives of our patients through care and treatment that is entirely child and family centred. Our outcomes are amongst the best in the world and we constantly strive to improve our already outstanding care.
