Clinical expertise

Dr Davide Fabbricatore is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist who specialises in the management of complex cardiac arrhythmias, with a particular focus on integrating advanced imaging and high-density mapping technologies to improve procedural precision and patient outcomes.

He has clinical expertise in:

He is also an expert ion performing a range of procedures including:

  • catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation
  • ventricular tachycardia ablation
  • supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) ablation
  • physiological pacing (His-bundle and left bundle branch pacing)
  • left atrial appendage closure (LAAC)
  • complex device implantation (ICD/CRT)

Biography

Dr Davide Fabbricatore is a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist at Royal Brompton Hospital, specialising in the management of complex cardiac arrhythmias.

He graduated with honours in Medicine and completed his cardiology training in Italy, before pursuing a distinguished series of international fellowships. He undertook advanced electrophysiology training at the Cardiovascular Research Centre Aalst in Belgium, under the mentorship of Professor Tom De Potter, before completing further specialist training in ventricular arrhythmia management through the AVATAR programme in London under Professor Magdi Saba.

Dr Fabbricatore has been a Consultant at Royal Brompton Hospital since 2023.

Research

Dr Fabbricatore has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and is actively engaged in clinical research, with a focus on substrate characterisation and the optimisation of ablation strategies for complex arrhythmias.

His research interest centres on refining procedural approaches through the integration of advanced imaging and high-density mapping technologies, with the aim of improving outcomes for patients with ventricular and supraventricular arrhythmias.

Teaching

Dr Fabbricatore is committed to education and mentorship within the cardiology community. He contributes to the training and development of cardiology and electrophysiology trainees, sharing his subspecialist expertise to support the next generation of electrophysiologists.
