Innovative laser treatments for skin conditions

We use the latest laser technologies to treat birthmarks, moles, cysts and scars. This enables us to provide treatment for any skin tone.

We tailor the laser choice and are able to penetrate through the top layer of melanin (skin pigment), reducing the chances of reactionary hyperpigmentation (darkening of skin) that other mainstream lasers can cause in darker skin tones.

We’re proud to offer patients treatment with a range of world-renowned lasers including the Vbeam Perfecta, M22 by Lumenis, and UltraPulse DUO CO2 laser.

Ear correction for every age

1-2% of children are born with prominent or misshapen ears which can cause psychological distress or self-consciousness. If seen within the first 6 weeks of life, your baby’s ears can be moulded without surgery to correct the shape. This can remove the need for future surgery and improve the cosmetic outcome.

If prominent or misshapen ears continue into childhood, pinnaplasty (ear pinning) is a common cosmetic surgical procedure performed by our specialists which can alter the size, shape, or position of the ears. It has a positive effect on a child’s confidence.

Well Baby Clinic

Navigating parenthood can be challenging, particularly when it comes to a child’s health. The abundance of conflicting information online can add to stress and uncertainty.

As part of our Well Baby Clinic, our paediatric experts provide guidance and support at 4 key milestones in your baby’s first year of development, providing full top-to-toe assessments for peace of mind.

Each health check is attended by a consultant paediatrician, a paediatric dietician and lactation specialist and a consultant plastic surgeon. This complete, holistic and proactive approach helps spot problems at the earliest stages, such as tongue-tie, so that our plastic surgeons can provide appropriate treatment sooner.

Effectively treating extra digits and excess skin

Children can be born with extra digits or skin anywhere in the body. This can include the ear (called an ear tag) or also tongue-tie, which can severely affect a baby’s feeding.

Our specialists can provide treatment for these conditions at an early age, when local or no anaesthetic may be used. This can immediately improve the wellbeing of a child and avoids the need for treatment when a child is older and general anaesthetic is required.
