Biography
Dr Mohssen Chabok gained his undergraduate medical degree from the Tehran School of Medicine in 2006. He then continued his postgraduate studies at Imperial College London and completed his MSc in vascular ultrasound with distinction in 2010.
He worked in the private sector for 5 years as a clinical manager for UK and Ireland and was subsequently promoted to clinical director. His role involved overseeing community clinics across UK and Ireland offering education and screening for cardiovascular conditions. He successfully established major research projects between the private sector and world-renowned research institutions such as the University of Oxford and Imperial College London.
Following this, he completed his research in the field of cardiovascular medicine leading to a PhD from Imperial College London.
He completed his training in the London north-west Thames cardiology rotation, specialising in interventional cardiology and general internal medicine. He was appointed the Interventional fellow at the tertiary cardiac centre – Hammersmith Hospital.
He was appointed as a cardiology consultant at Harefield Hospital as well as the Hillingdon NHS Foundation Trust. He contributes to the primary angioplasty on-call service at Harefield Hospital which provides 24/7 care for heart attack patients.
