Dr William Eysenck is a cardiologist with extensive expertise in electrophysiology, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation.

He has experience in managing:

  • supraventricular tachycardia
  • atrial flutter
  • bradycardias
  • tachycardias
  • hypertension.

He also offers the following treatments:

Biography

Dr William Eysenck graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology alongside his medical qualification. He further enhanced his expertise with a three-year research fellowship at St George’s University, London, where his work on atrial fibrillation resulted in several peer-reviewed publications and an MD (Res).

His specialised training in electrophysiology and cardiac devices was completed at leading UK centres, including the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. He previously held a Consultant position at King’s College Hospital before establishing and leading the arrhythmia service at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.


Research

Dr Eysenck pursued a dedicated 3-year research fellowship, which led to several peer-reviewed publications. His thesis, titled ‘Detection Techniques and Modern Management of Atrial Fibrillation’, earned him an MD (Res) from St George’s University, London.
