Experts from Evelina London Children’s Hospital and RB&HH Specialist Care, to present fetal cardiac MRI 3D prenatal diagnosis, and totally endoscopic 3D valve surgery at Arab Health 2023

Based in Dubai, Arab Health is an annual event that started 48 years ago. It is the largest healthcare exhibition and medical congress in the Middle East, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the globe.
The 2023 event commences on the 30th January and is set to attract 3,000 exhibitors and +51,000 visitors from +185 countries. Additionally, there will be 10 CME accredited conference presentations with the aim of bridging gaps in medical knowledge and providing the very latest updates and insights into cutting edge procedures, techniques and skills.
Evelina London Children’s Hospital, and RB&HH Specialist Care live simulation presentations
During the 2023 event Dr Owen Miller, consultant in paediatric and fetal cardiology based at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, will showcase the latest fetal cardiac MRI method used to build 3D images of the fetal heart, and the surrounding anatomy, providing improved prenatal diagnosis.
Mr Toufan Bahrami, consultant cardiac surgeon based at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, will present the innovative totally endoscopic 3D valve repair and replacement surgical technique, providing high precision surgery through a 3cm incision.
The simulations will help patients in the region identify and manage prenatal heart conditions as early as possible and provide hope to patients suffering life-threatening heart valve disease.
